Little Wing Puppets is returning to Coonabarabran with a brand-new show, The Fish That Wanted to Fly. In collaboration with Orana Arts, Warrumbungle Shire Council, is thrilled to announce the return of Little Wing Puppets with their enchanting new production, The Fish That Wanted to Fly. This interactive puppet show will captivate audiences at Coonabarabran Town Hall on Monday, 5 August at 10:00am. The Fish That Wanted to Fly is a delightful and engaging puppet performance designed to immerse young audiences in an interactive storytelling experience. Through a blend of hand and rod puppets, the show introduces children to Australia’s unique native birds and animals while fostering a deep appreciation for our environment. "Last year’s performance of A Little Bit of Blue charmed audiences of all ages, including local schools, preschools, Community Care clients, and the general public," said Warrumbungle Shire Council Mayor, Councillor Ambrose Doolan. "We are delighted to welcome Little Wing Puppets back for another magical journey, as we believe every young person deserves access to the arts, no matter where they live." Cr Doolan continued, "this enchanting performance will spark imaginations and transport audiences through a mangrove lagoon, exploring themes of resilience, sustainability, and the importance of collaboration." The Fish That Wanted to Fly will be performed at Coonabarabran Town Hall on Monday, 5 August at 10:00 AM. Tickets are priced at $10 per person and can be purchased online at https://events.humanitix.com/the-fish-that-wanted-to-fly/tickets. Group bookings (10 tickets) are also available, with free entry for accompanying adults, teachers, or carers.
