Free Microchipping Program Promotes Responsible Pet Ownership in Warrumbungle Shire

A free microchipping program will be rolled out across the Shire to promote responsible pet ownership.

Warrumbungle Shire Council Mayor, Councillor Ambrose Doolan would like to emphasise the importance of microchipping, stating, "Microchipping your pets is a simple, yet crucial step, towards ensuring their safety. Microchipping pets also greatly increases the chances of reuniting lost pets with their owners, which is a high priority for our community."

“We encourage all pet owners to take advantage of this opportunity to chip in for the safety and well-being of their beloved dogs and cats,” said Cr Doolan.
