Extension - Have your say on the Draft Operational Plan 2020/21

The public exhibition period of the draft Operational Plan for 2020/21 has been extended, allowing more time for community members to have their say.

Community input into this process is valued by Council. The period that the public can make submissions on the draft Operational Plan is now open until Thursday 28 May 2020.

The draft Operational Plan provides the community with an overview of the projects, programs and activities that Council will deliver in the next financial year ending 30 June 2021. The recent Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic has made planning for the 2020/2021 budget somewhat difficult, with the pandemic impacting our communities and economies heavily.

“This is a great opportunity for residents to provide feedback to Council on our plans for the 2020/21 financial year and beyond” said Warrumbungle Shire Council Mayor, Councillor Denis Todd. “Now the extension has been granted, all residents are encouraged to view this draft document during the public exhibition period and provide feedback to Council.”

This is your time to have your say and have a look at Council’s Draft Operational Plan prior to the ordinary Council meeting in June, where the Operational Plan will be adopted for 2020/21.

The Draft Operational Plan can be viewed in full on Councils website, under the ‘Have Your Say’ tab.

To provide comment on the draft plans, please forward your submission to Council no later than 4:30pm on Thursday 28 May 2020.

Submissions should include a reference to the draft Operational Plan for 2020/21 and Delivery Program as the subject of your submission. Submissions received will be summarised and reported to Council at the Ordinary Council Meeting of Thursday, 18 June 2020.
