Council Services During Stay At Home Orders

Council services including water and waste remain open and operating as normal under the stay at home orders in place for all of NSW.

Customer Service and Service NSW remain open. However, to reduce movement in the community, customers are urged to phone, email or go online first rather than attend face-to-face.

Council’s website www.warrumbungle.nsw.gov.au contains a wide range of information relating to services. Offices can be contacted by emailing info@warrumbungle.nsw.gov.au or calling (02) 6849 2000 for Coonabarabran or (02) 6378 5000 for Coolah. Anyone entering a Council building must sign in using the Service NSW QR code. Paper-based sign in sheets are no longer available. If a customer does not have a smartphone to sign in using the QR code, staff will enter sign in details electronically.

The majority of Service NSW transactions may be completed online or with assistance over the phone. Online services are available at www.service.nsw.gov.au or phone assistance is available by calling 13 77 88.

The Coonabarabran Visitor Information Centre (VIC) is open for telephone and email enquiries only. The VIC can be reached on (02) 6849 2144 or email to coonavic@warrumbungle.nsw.gov.au.

All Macquarie Regional Library branches are closed. For information on libraries visit www.mrl.nsw.gov.au
