Council Seeks Community Input for New Economic Development and Tourism Strategy

Residents are being asked to help shape the future of their community by contributing to the creation of the Economic Development and Tourism Strategy for 2025-2030.

“Community input is vital as we develop a strategy that truly reflects the needs and aspirations of our residents,” said Warrumbungle Shire Council’s Director Environment and Development Services, Ms Leeanne Ryan. “By gathering feedback through this survey, we aim to craft a plan that supports growth, sustainability, and enhanced tourism within the Shire.”

To ensure the strategy meets local expectations, the Council has launched an online survey consisting of five key questions. The survey will be open until Friday, 4 October 2024, at 5:00pm, and residents are encouraged to dedicate 5 to 10 minutes to share their perspectives.

“We urge everyone to participate and make their voices heard,” Ms Ryan added. “Your feedback is essential in guiding the Shire’s future development and ensuring our approach aligns with community priorities.”
