The next round of Community Consultation Meetings is coming up, with residents encouraged to take the opportunity to meet with councillors and staff in their nearest town to discuss the issues facing their community.
“These Community Consultation Meetings are a great way to connect with community members and I encourage local residents to utilise these meetings to discuss matters affecting their community,” said Warrumbungle Shire Council Mayor, Councillor Ambrose Doolan. “The last few years have been tough for our communities with drought and bushfires followed by pandemic and, most recently, three natural disasters within a year causing extensive damage, particularly to our roads. These meetings are a great chance for the communities to come together and discuss various strategies allowing us to bounce back from such tough times,” said Cr Doolan. Community Consultation Meetings will be held at 5:30pm as follows:
“I hope to see a good turnout at these meetings and make sure you register your agenda items prior to the meeting online,” concluded Cr Doolan.
