Christmas in the Warrumbungle Region
If you are visiting the Warrumbungle Region this Christmas there will be a vast array of things to see and do with an impressive calibre of events on offer throughout the region.
“Lots of events are happening right across the Warrumbungle Region to spend the ‘most wonderful time of the year’ with all your family and friends,” said Cr Ambrose Doolan. “Community members and people who are travelling to the region are encouraged to jump online to the Warrumbungle Region website and have a look at all the events to make the most of everything that is on offer.”
From town Christmas events including markets, wreath making workshops, a Christmas Spectacular, Christmas carols, laser light shows, rides and so much more to bigger regional music events and more expected to be announced in the coming weeks, there is plenty to do this holiday season.
“Many of these events are funded by the NSW Government through the Community Events program. Council is grateful for these opportunities to bring communities together, which is so important for community resilience,” said Cr Doolan.

“After a tough few years with a pandemic and unprecedented weather events, this is the year to gather with all of your friends and family and enjoy the Christmas period. Travel safely this holiday period and we cannot wait to see you around the Warrumbungle Region,” Cr Doolan concluded.
Don’t forget to pick up Warrumbungle Region’s ‘Escape’ visitor guide from Coonabarabran Visitor Information Centre for things to do over the holiday break.
