‘Becoming Tender Ready’ Free Small Business Workshop

A free webinar is being held for small businesses to discuss the steps required to prepare their business for tendering opportunities.

“This is a great webinar to take part in to learn how to put together a successful tender submission, allowing your business to become ‘tender ready’,” said Warrumbungle Shire Council Mayor, Councillor Denis Todd. “Council has been working with Business Connect, with support from the NSW Government’s Newell Highway Alliance Program, to provide this great opportunity for small business.”

“There are currently a number of large projects commencing or set to commence around our region. With the recent COVID-19 restrictions impacting many small businesses, this is the perfect opportunity for small business owners around the Shire to be ahead of the game when these tender opportunities arise,” said Cr Todd.

“Whether it is Local, State or Federal government tenders, large private contracts, or grant applications, there are steps that can be taken now in preparation. The workshop will establish ‘baseline business readiness’, where businesses will not only be better positioned to respond to tenders, but also will see improvements in business productivity and direct costs,” concluded Cr Todd.

This free Business Connect Tender Webinar will be held on Wednesday 15 July 2020 at 8:00pm online. Participants must register before the webinar starts.
