Australia Day Activities 2021
Events and activities to celebrate Australia Day are set to be held in each of the six towns across the Warrumbungle Shire area on Tuesday 26 January 2021.
“To mark Australia Day and to allow for our communities to come together to reflect and celebrate there will be a number of events, activities and award ceremonies throughout the Shire,” said Warrumbungle Shire Council Mayor, Councillor Ambrose Doolan. “Council will be presenting awards to local community members and groups to recognise their contributions which have been made to our Shire throughout the year.”
“It will be wonderful to see the community out celebrating our connection to this country and our local communities,” said Cr Doolan.
“There will be something for everyone to come along, celebrate and enjoy time with family, friends and the community,” Cr Doolan explained.
