Dahli Breakfast Program

An extensive engagement process is underway to develop a new National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Early Childhood Strategy. We want as many voices as possible to help develop this strategy, including our Children Services families, organisations, communities and caregivers.

We invite you to partner with us to reflect on how the government and our local services could improve to support indigenous children to grow strong in culture, be healthy, stay safe, and get ready for school.

Children Services has established the Dahli Breakfast program at the Coonabarabran Yarning Circle. These sessions are great for local families to come along and start a conversation and share opinions about ways in which we can reinvigorate our activities at our Children Services Centres.

The next Dahli Breakfast will be held on Monday 21 June at 10:00am at the Yarning Circle, Coonabarabran. Everyone is welcome to come along, share morning tea and start the conversation.

If you need assistance with transport to get there please call Children Services on (02) 6849 2184. If it is raining then the event will be relocated to our centre at 14 Robertson Street, Coonabarabran.
