Casual and Short Term Employment

Council occasionally has casual and short term employment available in a number of fields. There are no positions current positions available.

Paper and emailed applications are no longer accepted. If you are interested in Casual or Short Term employment with Council, we recommend registering for Job Alerts at the bottom of this page so you will receive an email notification when we are again receiving applications for Council's eligibility list. Please note that placement on the eligibility list is not a guarantee of employment.

The personal information that Council has collected from you is personal information for the purposes of the Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act 1998.

The intended recipients of the personal information are:
    • Officers within the Council;
    • Any other agent of the Council

The supply of the information by you is voluntary.  Council has collected this personal information from you in order to assist in its determination of a vacant position within the organisation.  You may make application for access or amendment to information held by Council.  You may also make a request that Council suppress your personal information from a public register.  Council will consider any such application in accordance with the PPIPA.  Council is to be regarded as the agency that holds the information.  Enquiries concerning this matter can be addressed to the Director Corporate & Community Services.
