Responsible Pet Ownership Microchipping Program

Warrumbungle Shire Council is offering a subsidised micro-chipping program to promote responsible companion animal ownership for just $18 and $9 for Pensioners.

Pet owners are encouraged to take responsibility for ensuring their dog is microchipped and registered. The law requires you to microchip your pet, with two easy steps you can complete a Permanent Identification Form, then register your pet by completing the Lifetime Registration Form and paying the relevant fee to Council. Fees are set by the state government.

If your details have changed, or your pet has died, please notify Council and complete a Change of Details Form.

All animals must be appropriately supervised at all times.

For further details on the Microchipping program call Council’s Development Services Department on 6849 2000.
