Timor Dam water level is currently 33.6% capacity. Continued hot weather increases demand for water across town, putting a strain on the water supply. Residents are reminded that Level 5 restrictions are in place for water consumers in Coonabarabran.
New General Manager for Warrumbungle Shire Council

The Mayor of Warrumbungle Shire Council, Councillor Peter Shinton, has announced that Warrumbungle Shire Council has appointed a new General Manager. Mr Roger Bailey was appointed at an Extraordinary Meeting of Council held on 9th January 2018 and will take up the position at the end of February.

Hot weather and low rainfall over the Timor Dam catchment area has continued to reduce the water level of the Dam, which is now at 36% capacity. Level 4 Restrictions for water consumers in Coonabarabran remain in place.
240 Litre Recycle Otto Bins for Baradine Residents

The Recycle Otto Bins are to be used starting Wednesday, 10 January 2018 and will be collected fortnightly from this date. The current 60 litre crates are not to be used from this date as they will not be collected.
