A State of the Environment (SoE) Report is an important management tool for local Councils determine the effect of management actions on environmental conditions in the local area. Monitoring and reporting on the state of the environment over time increases our understanding of pressures on our environment, and their impacts, enabling us to respond more appropriately and effectively. Reporting on the state of the environment ensures that important information about our environment is made available to all members of the community.
The preparation of the Comprehensive State of the Environment Report 2005/6 for the Warrumbungle Shire Council was undertaken by Geolyse Consultancy.
This local report has now been replaced with regional level reporting.
