Operational Plan and Delivery Program

The 2014/15 budget as part of the Warrumbungle Shire Council Operational Plan and Delivery Program 2014/15 to 2017/18 were adopted at the June council meeting.  An ambitious $37.67m capital program is proposed over the next four years.  The adopted program will deliver significant works for roads, footpaths, parks and gardens.  Construction of four concrete bridges, resealing 105km of roads and re-sheeting 130km unsealed roads are also included.  The Delivery Program features a combined cash surplus of $445,000 over the four years, although $196,000 in restricted assets will be utilised to catch up on Council’s asset backlog.

Council has made significant progress in addressing its long term financial position, however there are external influences outside Council’s control that impact on Council’s financial situation.  Council aims to maintain its service levels detailed in the Delivery Program in line with a balanced budget and adopted long term financial plan.
